This was my first to visit the paradise island in the Visayas. It was a dream come true. I’ve been wanting to go to Camiguin since i was a kid.
Sadly, there are just few high end hotels or pension houses in Camiguin. There were several attempts by investors to put up first class resorts. But the Marcos type politicians here wanted to have a cut in the business.
Corrupt politicians wanted to have a share in the income once the resorts are running. If the businessmen refused they would face harassment or even worse.
Anyway, i enjoyed my time here. Will surely go back, no doubt.
