How I got here was both accidental and with a purpose.
I was originally supposed to meet a friend in Ozamis City. But because of my fault, I was late, and my friend’s time was running out for she had to go to Pagadian City. She kindly told me to just never come. So I just stopped at Kolambogan.
I probably passed by this place more than a hundred times, and for the first time, I finally set foot on its grounds. Or is it? I may have been here 35 years ago with my grandmother, and I just could not recall vividly.

The supermarket. I’ve seen this market in the 1980s.

This is probably the busiest area in Kolambogan.

Western Union outlet.

Old house, probably built around 1970s.

Old commercial building.

The abandoned wharf.

This place used to be stop of small passenger boats and ferry going to and from Ozamis City.

It is now dirty.

Facing the sun.

The pier.

Farther in the background, in the cloud part of this picture, is Ozamis City.

The highway. Going further to Lanao del Norte.

Going to Iligan City.
