Carlos A. Gothong company diversified into hostel business by creating Sugbutel. This type of hostel accommodation was inspired from Japan’s capsule hotel concept.
I stayed here for two days (one night) just to try it out.
Visit their website: http://www.sugbutel.com/
The advantages:
- The facilities are relatively new and clean since it’s just over a year old.
- Well guarded, it has cameras almost all over the place
- Affordable – P250 for Business Class; P350 for First Class.
- Aircon is working well.
- Free Wifi.
Disadvantages:
- No privacy – Male and female occupants sleep in one big room for probably 100 people.
- Noise – you may not like the snore, cellphone talk, murmurs of other occupants.
